Mendota High School

- the "Old" School - 16th Street -

the New School

There's almost always a sadness when we leave an old friend behind.  Sadder, still, when that old friend meets its end.  With the building of the new high school northwest of Mendota it was decided - against the wishes of many - that the old building had to come down.  These pages are a tribute in pictures and stories to the place that thousands of high school students over decades of classes called home for a good part of their day.
